Alexandria, VA – August 2, 2021 – Kearney & Company has been named a George Mason University Demonstrated Employer Equity & Inclusion In-Practice (D.E.E.P.) Employer for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. Organizations with a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are invited to join George Mason University Career Services’ Demonstrated Employer Equity & Inclusion In-Practice (D.E.E.P.) Program. Mason’s D.E.E.P. Program offers employers the opportunity to showcase their commitment to inclusion and equity with the Mason community.

“Being recognized as a D.E.E.P. Employer, especially by George Mason University, is an incredible honor,” says Kearney Chief People Officer Erin Ogburn. “It not only reflects and deepens our commitment to diversity and inclusion within our company, but also requires us to think more critically about the impact we make in our communities.”

George Mason University Career Services based the selections for the D.E.E.P. Program on how well organizations fulfill the following criteria: partnership with George Mason departments or diversity-based student organizations, the inclusive benefits the organization provides, social justice benefits the organization provides, the diversity of the management team/senior leadership/C-Level staff in the organization, the organization’s specific hiring initiatives for marginalized/underrepresented groups, and the organization’s philanthropic support for social justice initiatives and identity-based charities.
