Our Social Impact

Since 1985, giving back to the community has been part of Kearney’s DNA. We’ve always considered community outreach to be our duty and privilege.

We’ve upheld our tradition of giving and social responsibility through many decades of growth: Kearney contributes to local, regional, national, and even international causes that are important to our team members. With the help of our Community Service Committee, Kearney donated more than $1.2 million to various charities throughout 2022–2023. For multiple years in a row, we’ve been recognized by the Washington Business Journal with a Corporate Philanthropy Award.

Highlights of Kearney’s philanthropic initiatives include:

  • Hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross
  • Holding an annual charity golf outing to support Warrior Canine Connection
  • Organizing a virtual Pride 5K to support various organizations focused on the LGBTQ+ community
  • Helping with meal packing and food distribution events
  • Raising funds to support the people of Ukraine
  • Participating in National Rebuilding Day for Rebuilding Together – Alexandria
  • Supporting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of South Dayton
