Team Member Spotlights
“The in-person week [of Kearney’s Internship Program] was one of the single best things I have experienced as an individual. Meeting such like-minded, driven individuals was such a treat. Everybody was so down to earth and willing to make small talk and then open up personally and get to know each other. I was worried much of the class would be timid in getting close, but this proved to not be the case. By the end of the week, I had experienced so much of Alexandria and my intern class. It was truly special.”
“I have a passion for financial auditing, particularly how current systems can be augmented with modern technology. That’s part of why I chose to apply to Kearney Technology Group…. I spent most of my days entranced by engaging seminars and on occasion, slightly petrified of Excel datasets the size of 10,000 KB. As a KTG Intern, I often found myself having more questions than answers, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I realized the importance of failing hard and failing fast. It’s a part of learning, especially in the realms of technology and consulting.”
“At the company kickball match, I thought it spoke to the company’s values that the Partners/Principals were willing to be pied in the face for charity. Truly, these events showed me how accepting, approachable, close, and fun this whole company is…. When working for a firm, it is expected to make professional relationships, but bonding outside of work is not required (and not always supported). I enjoy that Kearney hosts these different events, as I believe it is important to get to know my co-workers on a personal level.”
Summer Internship Program
Every summer, we welcome a class of interns for an inside look at what it’s like to work at Kearney. Our internship program features mentoring, hands-on work experience, networking opportunities, and a meaningful firm-wide community service project.
The application period is typically in the fall semester prior to the summer internship, closing in late October.
Summer Externship Program
Sophomores or above are invited to join Kearney for our two-day virtual externship in August. Externs get first-hand exposure to a typical day working at Kearney. The program offers opportunities for obtaining career advice, enhancing résumés, attending breakout sessions, collaborating on a team project, and building a larger professional network.
The application period for externships is typically in the spring semester.
