Alexandria, VA – October 9, 2018 – Kearney & Company, P.C. has been awarded a 2018 Corporate Philanthropy Award by the Washington Business Journal. Every year, the Washington Business Journal honors companies in the D.C. Metropolitan Area for their philanthropic efforts by local giving (dollars), volunteer hours, as well as law firms (pro bono hours). Out of 70 companies this year, Kearney was recognized as one of the top honorees in the Cash Category.
Kearney & Company is proud to receive a Corporate Philanthropy Award this year from the Washington Business Journal because community outreach is a company priority. “We believe in the importance of contributing to causes beyond our specific mission. Our Community Service Committee (CSC) actively leads and organizes community service ventures on behalf of Kearney. Giving back to our local committees is something that we encourage leadership and employees to participate in and this award could not be achieved without the great work of our CSC and the entire Kearney Team,” said Kearney COO Brian Kearney.
This year, companies will be recognized at the Corporate Philanthropy Awards Breakfast on Friday November 9th, 2018, at the Wharf in Washington, D.C.
