Press Release: Kearney & Company Recognized as a 2024 Best Place to Work in Virginia
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Feb. 2, 2024 – Kearney & Company, a premier audit, consulting and technology firm focused on the government, was recently named as one of 2024’s Best Places to Work in Virginia by Virginia Business. The publication compiles the annual list of the state’s best workplaces in collaboration with Best Companies Group. In 2024, Kearney ranked seventh in the Large Employers category, up five spots from the previous year.
“After a year of unprecedented growth, we could not be more proud to once again be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in our home state,” said Chief People Officer Erin Ogburn. “This honor is a reflection of the unwavering commitment of every Kearney team member to the values and great work environment that remain the foundation of our firm.”
Honorees are chosen based on a two-part process. First, organizations are evaluated on their policies, procedures, and demographics. Second, team members of participating organizations are surveyed. Team members’ responses about their workplace experiences factor most heavily in the evaluation.
To participate, companies must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity.
- Be a publicly or privately held business.
- Have a facility in the state of Virginia.
- Have at least 15 employees working in the state of Virginia.
- Be in business a minimum of one year.
The final rankings were announced during an awards ceremony on Feb. 1. For more information about the Best Places to Work in Virginia program, visit www.BestPlacesToWorkVA.com.
