Kearney ranked 10th on the list of Midsize Companies by Giving in Greater D.C.
Alexandria, Va. – Nov. 18, 2022 – Kearney & Company, a premier audit, consulting and technology firm focused on the government, was selected as a 2022 Corporate Philanthropy Award honoree by the Washington Business Journal. Kearney ranked 10th on the list of Midsize Companies by Giving in Greater D.C.
The awards “honor the region’s most active and inspirational companies and nonprofits who have made a difference in their communities through philanthropic work,” according to the Washington Business Journal. This marks the fourth time that the publication has recognized Kearney for its charitable efforts.
Since the firm’s founding in 1985, giving back to the community has been woven into Kearney’s people-focused culture. The firm contributes to a wide range of organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. Some highlights of Kearney’s philanthropic initiatives over the past year include:
- Hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross.
- Hosting a charity golf tournament to support Warrior Canine Connection.
- Hosting a virtual Pride 5k to support various organizations focused on the LGBT community.
- Supporting meal packing and food distribution events.
- Raising funds to support the people of Ukraine.
- Participating in National Rebuilding Day for Rebuilding Together – Alexandria.
