Alexandria, VA – November 5, 2018 –Kearney & Company (Kearney) is proud to accept the 2018 ACL Impact Award Runner-up in recognition for outstanding achievements of audit, risk, finance and compliance professionals making an impact and providing value through the use of ACL technology.
“Through the use of data analytics, Kearney identified an opportunity for the Federal Government to reprogram $22 billion of funding to more effectively address housing issues,” stated Brian Kearney, Kearney’s Chief Operating Officer. “We are dedicated to delivering innovative financial management services to our customers and creating social good through data-driven solutions to real world problems.”
Using ACL technology, Kearney also analyzed opioid addiction data to identify an area in Virginia with the highest per capita opioid addiction rate which received zero state funding. As a result, the team was asked to present their findings to leaders in state government.
“Kearney is a perfect example of what you do matters, in the ways that they leverage ACL. They have earned this achievement as one of ACL’s top Impact Award nominees,” stated Sean Zuberbier, ACL’s Chief Revenue Officer. “From identifying $22B in unspent, misaligned or unspent funding to implementing ERM programs. We are always impressed with the innovative ways Kearney & Co uses ACL to help government agencies achieve their missions.”
